Recoup Cryosleeve + BOA® Fit System Integration
In designing the Cryosleeve, Recoup partnered with BOA® Technology to create a massive step-change for cold recovery methods. Together we created a solution unlike any other cold compression product on the market. The integration of the BOA® Fit System allows the Cryosleeve wearer to customize their fit with a precision otherwise unattainable. The three integral BOA components - a micro-adjustable dial, super-strong lightweight laces and low friction lace guides - are configured and engineered to optimize your fit, providing maximum control and adaptability.
“Getting a close fit with an ace bandage and any type of cooling device, whether it's a bag of ice or a cold pack, has always been nearly impossible, especially since only one hand is available to wrap it. This is really the answer; it goes on easily with the adjustment knobs disengaged, then is incredibly easy to tighten in a controlled way.” - Mark Williams

Cold compression is a combination of cryotherapy and static compression, used for the treatment of pain and inflammation after minor to acute injury or surgery. The Recoup Fitness Cryosleeve effectively reduces pain and swelling in arms and legs without sacrificing mobility. It can be easily incorporated into any cold-therapy rehabilitation or recovery routine.
- Cold compression causes vasoconstriction, in which the diameter of your blood vessels decreases. This results in reduced blood flow, which helps prevent inflammation and thereby reduces stiffness and soreness.
- Cold with compression is significantly colder than ice alone due to improved skin contact and increased tissue density, resulting in faster cooling and longer lasting aftereffects.
After placing in the freezer for two hours, slide and adjust the Cryosleeve above, at or below knees and elbows to relieve soreness and inflammation resulting from or related to:
- ACL/MCL/ligament tears
- tennis/golfer’s elbow
- general knee and elbow joint pain
- shin splints
- calf pulls
- carpal tunnel
- general muscle overuse and/or tightness
- physical therapy
- surgeries and more...
HOW TO RECOUP: THE R.I.C.E. METHOD
Relieve pain and swelling and promote healing and flexibility with RICE—Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation.
Rest. Rest and protect the injured or sore area. Stop, change, or take a break from any activity that may be causing your pain or soreness.
Ice. Cold will reduce pain and swelling. Use your Cryosleeve right away to prevent or minimize swelling. Treat the affected area for 10-20 minutes 3 or more times a day.
Compression. Tighten your Cryosleeve using the BOA® Fit System dials to help decrease swelling. Adjust to your comfort level; too tight can cause more swelling below the affected area.
Elevation. Elevate the injured or sore area on pillows while applying cold treatment and anytime you are sitting or lying down.

I bought this for “tennis elbow” and it works great. Very easy to put on and take off. It can get pretty cold on the skin so wear a thin form of fabric if you’re sensitive to cold. (Even cutting the toe of a thin sock off and slipping that on your arm). I do want to say that as far as being able to use your arm while this is on, it really isn’t possible…that is, unless you didn’t cinch it down. As far as any possible improvements that could be made, I would’ve liked at least one of the pull tabs to be closer to the strings so that I wouldn’t have to reach around to pull it on. Lastly, even though it doesn’t last super long, it does the job perfectly! Thanks Recoup!
Of all of the braces and ice packs I have used, this brace is hands down the best. The only thing that has come close is the ice wrap that my physical therapist used on me and it cost about 5x the amount of the Recoup brace and it didn't offer the cable adjustments that the Recoup brace offers. The cable adjustments allow you to dial in a perfect fit. This one is so cold that I had to wrap my arm in an old t-shirt so I could keep it on for the recommended amount of time. Even after 45 minutes, the brace is still ice cold and it had built up a full layer of frost on the areas of the brace that weren't in direct contact with my skin. I believe the specs say it will stay cold for 2 hours and I believe it. I may have to order a second one to use as a beer coozie, LOL!
I got my brace for tennis elbow. It works well. I like how you can tighten it down. They only had small i. Stock when I ordered. I thought I needed medium. But after a little back and forth I was told to get small. It worked out well. I don’t think I would want a medium. The sizing instructions were a little confusing for me but you can always reach out to them for help
Excellent product. Well-made. Delivers what it promises.
I am very pleased with the Cryosleeve. It's alot more convenient than trying to balance an icepack on my arm. I do not use the Cryosleeve directly on my skin, I wear a layer of clothing as it's a bit too cold for me.
